Keep it reproducin'

Its been years since I have posted a new blog, time time get back into it! There are so many stories that you need to hear! That two year old little girl is now 8 and my marriage is close to over.  Through everything, like it or not, I'm still me.  I've been gardening more and more each since since we bought our house, there's just something therapeutic about playing in the dirt.  And so many creative things you can do with a garden.  Re-purposing things is SO much fun! Flea markets create a creative overload in my head, I have to walk slowly at first so I don't explode with all the exciting things I can create with other peoples junk.
For now I will leave you with my strawberries.  Oh the perennial strawberry plants.  How well you grow in the garden, in a pot and always over the top! If you EVER say you  can't grow anything, buy a small organic strawberry plant and just watch what happens.  If your broke, you can grow them by seed and put them in anything, like a lost shoe.  Or sew some old pant-legs together, add dirt and put them in there. No fertilizer needed, no pollonizer needed either!  If your growing strawberries inside, just force them to share that pollen! LOL! Rub two flowers together and BOOM you have assisted in reproduction. Congratulations.
Until next time, keep it reproducin' folks ;)

Time really can fly

Oh mahhhnnn!!!  What a crazy few years!  Sometimes I wonder how I even get through the weeks.  I'm now trying to juggle full time enrollment at College while working, being a mom and wife.  Thats like 4 full time jobs.  Impossible right??? I guess not, something about a mom gene and it makes you Superwoman.  Now that my little one is 3 we have to get involved in holidays.  At least she's young enough that I can still be cheap hehe  The dollar store will be her favorite place when she grows up :)  If only if I could get her to clean her room /

Guest Post from Doris Dillon

Walking Charles
This guest post from Doris Dillon:
My sister lives three blocks away from me, so walking our dogs together is a great way for us to get exercise, make sure our dogs are getting exercise, and spend time together as sisters. My sister has a cute Jack Russel Terrier, and I have a Cocker Spaniel, and the both get along really well. We meet in the early morning before work to go for our walks together. We usually meet halfway between our houses at 5:30, and go for a walk for about an hour with our dogs before heading home and getting ready for work.
Getting up that early isn't a problem. I've been a morning person for as long as I can remember, and! I love our walks together. I wake up, get dressed, and put my hair up before setting my home security alarm (Adt security pulse Indiana) and leaving with Charles to meet my sister. I love walking in the morning, before the rest of the world is awake. It's always a nice temperature out, even in the summer, and it's a very peaceful time to be outside. I also love being able to spend time with my sister. We walk at a brisk pace, so we definitely get a good workout, and I'm often sweating by the end of the walk. It's good for me, and it's good for Charles, too

Got a doggie who likes to chew?

So this website for Nylabone, http://www.nylabone.com/ kinda came to me and their not half bad.  I have an English Bulldog who LOVES to chew and I can't seem to find anything that lasts longer then 10 minutes.  I tried all different stores, I even resorted to buying a chunk of cheap wood at home depot for him! lol It was a pain to clean up but my heels lasted longer!!  Nylabone offers different chew toys for every step of doggie life.  From small one to big ones, edible to just toys for hard chewers.  Their prices aren't too bad either...of course the bigger the bone the more it costs :o lol  They can be found anywhere, Target, Walmart, Petco, Petsmart....all over the place.  Another REALLY important thing to me is the ingredients.  My dog is allergic to almost everything and these products are fine for him.  Their website is very informative and has many extras.  Their Dogs 101 page is a MUST for people looking for a doggie.  They have a list of popular dogs with their characteristics so you can find a perfect match.  I'm actually pretty surprised at all they offer.  The only thing I find annoying is that you can't buy their products on their website.  So I guess to say the least, check out nylabone when your in the doggie section at whatever store you choose to shop at.  They might surprise you and actually last much longer compared to what your used to. :)

Where to start?

I am currently staying in my moms basement (with a toddler and husband) until I find a place to live.  The only problem is I need to job to keep paying rent and utilities.  Its like the epic (yet annoying) question: Which came first, the chicken or the egg?  I have been so spoiled with a garage, deck, basement, washer/dryer that the apartments around here look like crap.  I don't even hide it from the people that showed me around the complex.  I wanted to cry!  No washer/ dryer?! UGH! hehe the guy looked at me like I was crazy.  Screw him, I'm sure that he just works there, NOT lives there.  I never thought I'd be applying for unemployment, but then again who really does?  Maybe I'll just start rapping about chains and cars I don't have.  If Soldia Boi and Flo Rida made it then SO CAN I! All I need to do is practice my rhyming and do a stupid dance (stinky leg).  Here we go. . .Rat, Cat, Bat,  I may have a husband, but I also got alotta diamonds,  My chain so big its the size of my kid!!!

Guess who's back?!

I have been gone so long I don't know where to start.  First I wanna thank everyone who has been following me, I promise I will eventually find everyone new and start to follow you too!  Second, thanx for all the comments! Its great to log on and see people actually read some of my crazyness hehe.  And third, I guess I should say I am out the military, moved from Maryland back to Michigan (where I ran as fast as I could away from) and I need to start all over.  They say when God closes one door he opens another.  But what if you donno its God that opened it, what if it look like the devil inside that door? What if you can't find the door? Newayz. . I will begin my 'A Day in the Life of Crystal' posts once again.

HELLO Strangers!!!

Sorry its been so long, but I do have ALOT to fill you in on.  I guess I'll try to start at the beginning if my A.D.D will let me. . .My beau and I got into a little fight and I guess my inner child came out because I stomped my feet while pumping my fists and then turned to the wall and kicked it.  All would have been great if I was eight but the wall crumbled like a piece of paper.  So now there is a decent size hole in a rented wall...frickin sheesh!! And the baby wakes up. . .can I get a medal for pretending to not be mad and playing with my little girl? Of course not but we've already discussed that medal so what comes next? Well now I'm cooking and plastering that hole.  Nothing difficult, something is in the oven and needs to cook for about 20 mins so I don't even bother to set the timer.  Well about 3-5mins go by and I think I smell something burning.  My artistic plastering is just so beautiful that I think, 'It hasn't been that long, they can't really be burning, I'll just give it a few more minutes.'  Well good thing God turns my head nonchalantly b/c I see smoke.  I run over to the stove and what do you know? I had placed the pot holder onto the top of the stove where I had forgot to shut off the burner. . .My pot holder was so burnt it was gooey.  I immediately opened all the kitchen windows and turned on the fan.  I raced to grab the air freshener, but before I even started spraying my husband smelt the stench! "What did you burn honey?" "NOTHING!" I almost yelled at him as I sprayed freshener all over him and the living room.  Sounds funny now, but its no fun explaining to your husband that dinner is now done and that terrible smell is the pot holder you put on the not turned off burner. . . .AAGGGHHH!!!

And to top it off I decided to download the new editor for blogspot. . .but where the heck is the spell check?!! Grown adults like me out of college for years don't remember how to spell cool long words like 'nonchalantly'. . .umm help?

Pampers Giveaways

I hate joining 'rewards clubs' online because of the mass amounts of junk email I get.  However, I decided to join Pampers network and I am recommending it to those with young children.  It is pampers.com and called Gifts to Grow.  You get 'points' by doing various things, such as visiting a sponsers website, or buying a box of pampers.  You type in a code they give you and points show up on your account.  These points are actually redeemable for toys and entrys into giveaways.  I usually forget to save codes from my diapers or wipes, but I try to open two pages while on the internet, and let a video play on the pampers site.  You get about 2 points for each video watched.  Pretty cool and easy for getting new stuff :)

Tragedy

United  States of America.  Or just North America?  How much of history really is the truth?  I believe it just just a part of his story that someone put in writing and passed down in textbooks.  No one really knows whats going on, we just do what were told.  Sure we have our own minds and believe certain parts are a little different then what were told, but why is the truth never out there.  I understand security reasons, such as not advertising when or where we are going to strike next.  But what about Katrina?  There were dead people on the side of the road...for weeks.  Families were forcefully seperated.  We spent how much money on this 'war' and how much on rescuing humans in the states?  Its extremely sad that many Americans have simply given up on politics because of the corruption.  We don't even have the decent courtesy and respect for the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! What member of a high counsel would go to another country and insult their leader? No one!  We are so afraid we will be sued for offending someone that we can't even express our opinion.  I would love to keep all of our advances as a people but go back to the days when children didn't curse, metal detecters were only in airports and people had respect for their elders.  All the hidden money and lies that are behind so much of our daily life honestly makes me sick to my stomach.
